We encourage a wide range of parental involvement in school. Class teachers may ask parents to help with excursions, management of an activity in the class or support in other aspects of the child’s development at school.
Special arrangements are made with the parents of new entrants to help with enrolment and settling in of both child and parent.
All staff are available to meet parents during the course of the week. Sadly, due to teaching commitments, this cannot be done on a drop-in basis. We would ask you to make an appointment with the class teacher, Head Teacher or school office.
Arrangements are made twice in the year for parents to meet with the class teachers to discuss their child’s progress. An annual report is issued prior to the second Parents’ Evening. These Parent Evenings are usually held in October and April.
Reports are currently being changed in line with the expectations of the Curriculum for Excellence. Parents will be kept up-to-date on developments.
